Cost of Hearing Aids
The Commonwealth Government pays for the FULL cost of the basic hearing aid for Pensioners and Veterans. However, if you want a hearing aid that will meet your busy and active lifestyle, then paying a little towards the overall cost is an investment into your quality of life.
Hearing aids come with a variety of different features. No longer are they just an amplifier, receiver and speaker. But there is a processing chip inside which processes speech and background noise.
